Councillors Decry Senseless Vandalism
Last Saturday night, the tree in Kings
Drive was snapped in half and left broken on the ground. Local Ratton Councillors Barbara Goodall, Sandie Howlett and Colin Belsey have called the breaking of the tree in the picture a "senseless act of vandalism". The local Councillors have vowed to get the tree replaced and trust that the new one will be left to grow in a correct manner.
Cllr. Colin Belsey said
" Why would some idiot or idiots want to do such a thing? We live in a tree lined street town and this act of senseless vandalism costs us all through the Council Taxes we pay. If anyone sees things like this happening, then please ring the police and lets try to get the these vandals caught"
