MP tables Commons Motion supporting local Post Offices

Local MP Nigel Waterson said:  “I know that all these post offices are vital for their local communities and are popular with residents.We will not take these latest Post Office plans lying down.  The campaign has already started to save the Willingdon Village post office, and the other campaigns start now.'

Local MP Nigel Waterson is asking the District Auditor to investigate Eastbourne Borough Council’s pay-off to former finance chief Bruce Bird. “I am asking the District Auditor to carry out a full investigation into the reported additional pension payment of £105,000 to Mr Bird."
